3.11.13 - Good Morning 4's Families
Dear 4’s Families,
During Bible time this week we will hear the story of how Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem, not to be crowned king, but to die on a cross. We know that is not the end of the story. Jesus rose again for our salvation on Easter morning! The children will sing songs of Hosanna and Alleluia just like the people in Jesus day.
We’ll be learning about our bodies in March. This week’s focus is on the 5 senses and how sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste help us explore the world around us. We’ll also talk about how to keep our body healthy with good nutrition, rest and exercise.
Our artist this month is Paul Klee who is famous for drawing and painting one-line designs. The budding artists work will be on display by the cubbies.
Look for information to come home about our annual auction/jog-a-thon fundraiser. Auction items will be available for bidding starting April 21 and the Jog-a-thon is scheduled for Friday, May 3, rain or shine. Thanks to Mandy Christmann and Rose Birkemeier for coordinating this event.
Classes are filling for 2013-14. We will be offering classes for 3’s, 4’s Extended Day 4’s, ½ day and full day kindergarten. Information is available on the blue bulletin board in the Commons. Kindergarteners enrolling for 2013-14 by March 15 will receive one month free tuition (to be used in the month of your choice) in 2013-14.
