Legend has it that St Patrick taught the children of Ireland about the Holy Trinity by using a humble clover. He told them about the Father, who created, loves and protects them. He told them about Jesus Christ, God’s Son, who died and rose again to free people from their sins, and He told them about the Holy Spirit, the one who gives faith and hope and joy to each believer. When you see clovers this spring, remember this God, Three in One, who loves, saves and desires you to be His child forever.
Lent is a particular time before Easter when we focus on God’s great love for us in sending Jesus to be our Savior. Throughout the month of March the people of Our Redeemer will gather for Devotions on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. Come.
Bible Stories during March focus on the miracles of Jesus. Jesus gives us glimpses of His glory as the Son of God as He suspends the laws of nature and performs miracles. We praise almighty God for the greatest miracle of all, that He claims us as His own through the redemptive work of Jesus. It is a joy each school day to remind the children how much they are loved by our Lord.
During March the children will be learning about Life on the Farm. 3’s preschoolers will focus on farm animals, 4’s preschoolers will learn about crops on the farm. Pre-K kids will study the jobs people do on a farm and the kindergartners will learn about the interdependence of the land, animals and people.
