It would be foolish to plant a seed and expect instantaneous results. Although some would prefer such an easy option, we know that nurturing a seed requires commitment to the growing process and a firm belief that the seed will become the plant it is intended to be and bear the fruit it is intended to bear.
At Our Redeemer we are seed planters. We have the responsibility of planting the seed of the Word of God daily into young hearts. We have the privilege of watching the children grow and mature in their faith.
Jesus life, death and resurrection assure us of forgiveness, joy and eternal life. We respond to this Good News with a heart full of love. These children daily experience the joy that comes from knowing Jesus.
Our “little plants” are growing well fed and watered by God’s Word, taught by teachers who model the love of Jesus.

Bible Stories for April focus on Jesus death and resurrection. Jesus died and rose again for us that we might have forgiveness, hope and eternal life with Him. Jesus made many appearances to His disciples and friends to assure them that He is alive and with us forever.

Kindergarten: Along with core curriculum in reading, writing and math we’ll learn about Plants and Insects. Kinder Artist: Picasso Author studies: Beatrix Potter and Arnold Lobel

Working in the Vineyard,
3’s Preschoolers are starting a unit on Life on the Farm. They will learn about all of the different animals on a farm and the many jobs that need to be done on a farm. The children will visit a farmer in Colorado via skype. At the end of this unit the little ones will be visiting the Kershner Homestead: Faith + Feast in Sherwood.
All the children will learn how Jesus came to earth to redeem us by dying on the cross and rising again on Easter morning. We will be learning about Jesus Resurrection appearances to His followers and friends. Jesus comes to us each day also bringing hope and joy into our lives.
