Who do YOU say Jesus is?

Every person has an answer to this question. Some believe Jesus was a great teacher. Others see Him as a prophet, a historical figure, or simply a good man. But Jesus asks each of us the same question He asked His disciples: “Who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15)

Who does The Bible say Jesus is?

The Bible doesn't leave us guessing. From beginning to end, Scripture reveals exactly who Jesus is, and why that matters for your life.

A Teacher?

Jesus taught God’s truth with wisdom and authority.

The Bible says:
“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.”  John 13:13

A Prophet?

Jesus proclaimed God’s truth and fulfilled God’s promises.

The Bible says:
“They were all filled with awe and praised God. A great prophet has appeared among us,’ they said. ‘God has come to help his people.’ Luke 7:16

The Son of God?

Jesus is God’s Son, sent to bring us life and salvation.

The Bible says:
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:16

A Savior?

Jesus came to save us from sin and give us eternal life.

The Bible says:
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”  Luke 2:11

The Messiah?

Jesus is the promised Savior foretold in the Old Testament.

The Bible says:
The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you-I am he.”  John 4:25-26

A good man?

Many people believe Jesus was simply a good man or a great moral teacher, but the Bible reveals that He is much more.

The Bible says:
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good except God alone.”
Mark 10:18

Lord?

Jesus is Lord, worthy of our trust, worship, and obedience

The Bible says:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Romans 10:9
